Before working in the training industry, Susan worked in various roles in the telecommunications industry in the UK and New Zealand. While managing multi-million pound products and projects, Susan became interested in how she could learn new skills to succeed at work, enjoy her job and reduce stress. Susan’s corporate background reflects the ability to relate training to business objectives to increase profits, reduce overheads and streamline processes. Susan has worked extensively with blue-chip companies, government departments and not-for-profit organizations.
Having delivered courses in Europe, the Middle East and North America, Susan has the ability to relate to diverse audiences. She is also an accomplished public speaker. She is the former president of City of London Toastmasters in the UK, which is a public speaking club affiliated with the Toastmasters International organisation.
Susan was trained to deliver Mind Mapping courses by the Buzan Organization, the world-wide authority on Mind Mapping. Susan is a Licensed Neuro Linguistic Programming Practitioner, who uses her understanding of learning styles and training techniques to get the best results within her programmes. She also holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University, Wellington, New Zealand.
